History of the Horns
Di and Nigel welcome you to their beautiful 18th
Century Country Inn and Restaurant `The Horns
of Boningale’. The building dates back over 300
years and was a regular stopping off point for
Shropshire cattlemen.
Legend has it that a friendly ghost regularly plays
tricks on the incumbent owners by switching the
lights on in the middle of the night but it is
believed to be playful rather than a scary spirit.
